Marlowe Racing Chassis Merges Into Performancenter Racing Warehouse

Statesville, NC(July 5, 2011) -- On June 30, 2011, Marlowe Racing Chassis officially merged into Performancenter Racing Warehouse bringing two of the most successful chassis companies under one roof.
 
The merger brings the Marlowe Racing Chassis, formerly owned and operated by former Late Model Stock Car star, Greg Marlowe, and the LTO Chassis into Performancenter Racing Warehouse.  The two chassis' will continue to be sold under the Performancenter Racing Warehouse and according to PRW owner, Roger Johnson, not much will change.
 
"This is a big deal for us at PRW," said Johnson.  "But, in the interest of both companies customers, there's not going to be any big changes.  MRC(Marlowe Racing Chassis) customers simply have to come a couple of blocks over to our shop now."
 
MRC Customers will also be able to talk to all the same people as they have in the past as Greg Marlowe and his staff have come to work for PRW.
 
"Those guys do a great job with their product and they know their customers," continued Johnson.  "I want this to be as seamless of a transition as possible and they can come here and talk to Greg(Marlowe) or any of his guys, just like they always have."
 
Things won't change for LTO chassis customers either as they'll still get the same great service from the same group of employees as they have in the past.
 
"We're not changing anything on the LTO end either.  If you've been an LTO or Performancenter customer in the past, nothing has changed, we'll still give you great customer service and the best products you can get in short track racing."
 
For Marlowe Racing Chassis former owner, Greg Marlowe the merger is bittersweet, but he feels it will benefit his customers as well as the current Performancenter customer base.
 
"I never thought that anyone else would own my business," said Marlowe.  "But, when this chance came up, I knew it would be a good fit.  The only way I was going to do this was if me and my guys were a part of the deal and we'll be a big part of Performancenter going forward.  I feel confident that this deal will benefit all my custmers and the customers of Performancenter already."
 
Marlowe and Johnson certainly have proven they know their way around a Late Model Stock Car, buiding race and championship winning chassis against one another and now they find themselves on the same team.  That could mean huge benefits for both of their customer bases and puts Performancenter Racing Warehouse at the top of the food chain in the chassis business with two of the best chassis' in the business.
